Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Last Ronin
By Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird
I’ve been a fan of Ninja Turtles my whole life. I still remember buying my first Leonardo toy at Wal-Mart when I was in first grade. Back then, I had most of the toys and loved the cartoon and movies. I even had Ninja Turtle coloring books. I was a big fan.
I’m not a comic book reader, but when I saw this one come out, I wanted it. I found the hard-bound copy on a shelf a few months ago, so I picked it up. I was ready to step into the world of ninja turtles again over 30 years later.
The cover looked awesome, and the reviews were great. But once I started reading it, it was not something that I was really into. The graphics were alright, and the story was good, but I think it could have been better.
They just started remaking GI Joe comics again and I’m definitely going to give them a try as well.
